I loved this guest house. Beautiful building with friendly owners and a lovely room. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and it's a stones throw from Keswick town centre. Highly recommended.
Stonegarth is a very nice guest house we have visited several times. It is in a good location, easy walking distance to town centre with private parking which is a bonus. Nice rooms, ample hot water and heating good hospitality tray with extras like nespresso machine. Currently the breakfast room isn't open breakfast is being served to your room which is ok but not ideal IMO.
Beautiful guest house with lovely owners. My partner and I have stayed in many bed and breakfasts in Keswick, and this one is definitely the best. We have stayed at Stonegarth on at least 4 occassions in different rooms and they have all been lovely and spacious as well as being spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who seem to have thought of everything to ensure that their guests have a luxurious and pleasant stay. The breakfast is absolutely amazing......the best bacon and sausages we`ve ever had....all from the local butchers, and beautifully cooked and presented. Thank you so much to Di and Stephen for yet another lovely stay....we hope to be back again soon!
Keswick is the best place to stay in the Lake District and this is the best place to stay in Keswick, need lots of friends tho, 6 lovely bedrooms, all ensuite. Lovely kitchen, dining room, lounge and lots of accessories, but Keswick is only a 5 minute walk, loads of really good pubs & restaurants.
We stayed for 1 night in February for a weekend break. The room was very well presented and comfortable.The spa bath was a good way to relax after walking the fells. At breakfast everything was available with a good selection including a full breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the walk around Latrigg which was recommended to us. Thank you.
This is the most delightful B&B I have ever stayed in and I cannot recommend it enough. The owners are friendly and attentive. The rooms are beautiful with luxury double showers, a jacuzzi bath for two, his and her basins and a four poster bed. The breakfasts are beautifully cooked, prepared and served and there's a considerable choice to suit all morning palettes. There's also off-road parking and you're only a short stroll from the town and pubs!
Really enjoyed our weekend stay here. Very well located for Keswick, and its selection of bars and restaurants. Di was a great host, nothing could be too much trouble. Really enjoyed the breakfast, kept me going all day! Thanks
Stayed here last year for a weekend. There was a mess up by the company that we used to book through, the owners very very accommodating, and did everything they could to help (even though it wasn't their fault!!!). We had a great stay, loved the breakfast too! Great staff!!!!!
